In a bizarre collaboration that breaks traditional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Uncovered

According to the authorized statement, "An unusual confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of forbidden rituals and monstrous transformations reverberate through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine sect.

The mission focuses on "peculiar tests and a fearsome adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Changes

The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Additional Features

Players who accomplish the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to multiple objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
